ModNation Racers Shown Off on Sony Vita

Hmm, I grabbed the PSP version as one of my Welcome back games, and while I was wowed by the ease-of-use of the track creator, the game itself was rather underwhelming with those "who-are-you?" characters and the not-quite-there racing. But, Sony is persisting with the series and this video shows off how much better the track-creation process is with a couple of touchscreens to play with.



If we can get some better themed characters, more solid racing and if the Vita can throw in a better sense of community then this game could really deliver. Ultimately, this game needs a reason to race rather than just racing on pretty tracks and the addition of trophies could well help it out.
