Vita Getting Top Games Cheaper in Japan

Perhaps because they are legacy titles, the likes of Ridge Racer and Katamari will be getting reduced pricing offers when the PS Vita launches in Japan. The current prices listed in yen work out at around under £30 but those are the formal RRP prices which are often undercut.

So, its possible we could see brand new PS Vita titles going for around the £20 mark. There is also word that owners of PSP UMD games might be able to download a digital version cheaper than the PSN store equivalent, reducing the cost of moving your old game collection over. Not ideal, but every little helps although there are still some non-PSN games only on UMD.
