This week saw no big game releases, and the Vita's hardware sales slid to just under 10,000 according to Media Create, nudged back into 5-figures by some 600 defiant Vita TV sales.
Perhaps those Vita TV sales will rise as more Japanese gamers hear about the crazy GameTech device that adds a 7-inch screen and four triggers to make a super-Vita. Overall Vita remains just ahead of PS4 in Japan on weekly sales, but now needs big sales from Phantasy Star Nova bundles and the pink edition Vita to match or beat least year's solid end of year run.
